Workplace Education: Dollars & Sense

This is a level one financial management program. Learning outcomes are the importance of financial management, bookkeeping fundamentals, understanding financial statements, developing budgets and cash flows, government reporting requirements, tax compliance, pricing products, basic financial analysis, and sources of funding and obtaining financing.

Time & Day: Wednesdays 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Program Length: 10 weeks

These programs are brought to you at no cost. All Workplace Education programs are funded by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education. They have been a valuable partner for AVCC in offering these programs. The full cost for participants is funded under this program. In return, we expect a commitment to attend at least 80% of sessions. You do not need to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce to participate and all employees are welcome. Instructions will contact each participant at least one week prior to the program start date to complete an individual needs assessment. This will provide the instruction with valuable information they need for planning the program and allows you the change to provide input as to the direction of the course. When registering multiple people from the same organization please fill the form out for each participant or provide names and contact for each in the comments.
