This course is designed for the user who has little to no experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. The course would demonstrate the uses of the components of the office suite. Topics may include:
Outlook – Exploring the use of Outlook as an email and contact manager. Working with Contacts, managing email, creating folders working with attachments, using the Calendar, and other topics as required.
Word – How to use Word as a Word processor. How to format text, default Word options, document setup, document views, working with templates managing your files, inserting graphics, bulleted and numbered lists, using Styles, and working with tabs.
Excel - Introducing the Excel interface, entering data, absolute and relative cell reference, creating simple formulas, inserting and removing columns and rows, copying moving and auto-fill, formatting the worksheet, print preview and printing.
Power Point – What is Power Point used for? Slide basics, creating your first presentation, inserting transitions and animations, working with images, setting up timings, text boxes and smart art, printing a slide show.
One Note – Using One Note as a notes organizer
Publisher - A brief look at Publisher to create flyers and or brochures.
