Agriculture & Agri-foods
Our Agriculture and Agri-Foods Committee has planted its seed in the heart of AVCC! They continue to grow awareness of the importance of agriculture in the valley and the interesting new innovations that can inspire others, or better yet, help others in the agriculture industry.
Promoting the Annapolis Valley is very important when trying to bring new visitors to our area, and our Tourism Committee is one to do just that! This committee promotes the beauty, opportunities, and thriving businesses in the Annapolis Valley. Through the committee's strong multi media campaign with coverage throughout the Maritime Provinces our visitor numbers increased for the first time in more than 10 years!
Young Business Leaders
Our Young Business Leaders committee was formed to help integrate young business leaders with established business professionals in hope to create mentorship opportunities to enable these young leaders to be successful and remain in our region.
Our Professional Development committee is well known for its educational lunches & workshops that provide useful information and skills needed to improve work performance. This committee has continued to give back to the business community and is offering much more in 2017.
The Advocacy committee takes the time to listen and take action for our members and communities members. They appreciated every individuals input and work towards the greater good for the Annapolis Valley. This committee is passionate about your concerns on topics such as economic opportunities, business growth, and future valley projects. Together they stand for The VOICE for business.
