Annapolis Valley, N.S., August 16, 2016
The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome the Honourable Stephen McNeil to address member businesses and local dignitaries Monday at the new Wayfarers Ale in Port Williams.
The Premier addressed those in attendance with an optimistic outlook for Nova Scotia. He reflected on some difficult decisions that have been made and more that need to be made to move the Province forward. McNeil congratulated Nova Scotia and the Annapolis Valley as being welcoming communities. Our desire for growth depends on continued immigration, and Nova Scotia has been a leader on that front.
President of the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce, Paul DesBarres, said following the Premier’s address “AVCC agrees with the need to think differently about how we operate in this economy, and the need to seek and embrace positive change. AVCC has advocated for changes that can prepare the Valley for growth with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness.”
The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce represents nearly 400 businesses and their employees, from Hantsport to Lawrencetown.
