Award for Best Fitness Club/Spa - Kettlebell Krushers Fitness
“It is really hard to express how exciting it was for Shawn & myself to win this award We are a small fitness business in Middleton that so many people still haven't heard of yet. We have only been in our own location for 2 years, but a lot of people don't know that we having been training people in communities across the Annapolis Valley for almost 8 years! Holding weekly classes from Hantsport to Middleton. We hope that this award gives us increased exposure for growing our Middleton location even further!
We may have Kettlebell in our name, but we are so much more! We teach TACFIT, Clubbell and our own UNLIMITED MOVEMENT classes. In addition, are teach programs to prepare people to compete in obstacle races such as Mud Hero. We have poured our hearts and soul (and money) into this business, growing it very slowly. This has always been our second job, we both have full-time careers on top of this business.
We do private training, go into schools, community events, and train other trainers. We work with towns and are a part of some of their recreation programs and pride ourselves on bringing the Valley quality programming never seen before in the area! Our small classes are highly coached, and emphasize proper movement patterns, mobility, and increased strength.
We train with some of the very best in the world to bring that knowledge back to Kettlebell Krushers Fitness. Currently, there are only 5 TACFIT instructors in Canada, with me being the only female. All our programs are co-ed and suitable for all fitness levels. We pride ourselves on an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone is working toward the common goal of increased health and fitness.”
